Default Sert tuning constants

the maps have the CID for the size bore Question is will I be able to load
a 1550 map into 1450 or will I have to change the 1550 map CID to 1450 to load.
Also about injector size shows the same for either map, should I leave it alone.

I think you should read the manual......

Use the map that comes the CLOSEST to matching your configuration.......

The only time that you have a choice for injectors is the MY06 8 or 25 degree injectors......

And even then, the maps are specifically tailored for those applications.....

You should be able to load any map you want, but not sure why you would want to load anything other than the one close to your setup.

Not to hi jack your post. But currently there is no 96" map for heads and cams. Can I take a 103 stage II map and change the CI to 96" and down load it. I was going to test this last fall and got as far as down loading a modified 103 map, but winter had other plans and I never got a chance to drive it. Just curious if anyone had tried this. If the closest map was only different in CI that should be the one to pick and change the CI to 96 ?

Doesn't SERT version "F" have the 96" map upgrades?

My CD is rev "H" (came with verion F) and only has two 96" maps, both stage I.

159PZ003 Touring Exhaust
159AE003 Shory Exhaust

There are several 103s and 110s with different cams but both 96" are based off stock cam.

I believe that you will find that you can load any map you want, the info in the descriptions is for the tech to try and match his build to the tune. I can't say for sure that the engine size doesn't prevent a download as I haven't tried it, but I just came in from loading an 8 degree map into a 25 degree engine.

The bike was already running on the 8 degree tune, this was just a tweek to it.

Load the map that is closest to your setup and tune it from there.

Hope you git'R done.

All you did was richen it up by just under 1/2 point by doing that.

I'm not sure how to define it, such as your 1/2 point measurement but I agree it richens it up across the board slightly if you are referring to the VE tables if I understand things correctly. Big assumption! LOL

But I disagree as to that being all it does, it richens it up much more in the lower RPM and lower throttle positions in the AFR table. Unfortunately this is where you spend the most time operating when just out cruising. Just looking at the tunes led me to believe that the 8 degree isn't as efficient in these settings, so they add fuel to get by. I have made some tweeks that bring these settings closer to the 25 degree tune, along with some other tweeks, loaded into the bike and put over 100 miles on it yesterday.

The Acc enrichment table is very different between the 2 tunes, they appear to add more fuel across the board with the 8 degree injectors, another area I felt needed tweeking.

Bike seemed to perform well, and it appears I took care of the being to rich in the settings mentioned. Time will tell if it is where I want it, but tuning by seat of the pants and by ear is a slow cautious method of tuning. If I settle on this setup then a plug check will be the last test. Had it all looking good before the injector change, trying to get back to that point. I also really look at the fuel mileage to get a feel for what the bike is doing.

I know a dyno tune would be ideal, and might get there one day, just having fun playing with it for now.

Thanks for the input, and feel free to make some suggestions, they may help me and anyone else working on their tune.
