Having an electrical issue. I put a Trigg system on my wife’s bike. Have added brake lights and turn signals to the outriggers. I got a wire harness from Alfa-Mate that plugs in between the wire harness for the lights under the seat. I wired everything up and tested it prior to putting the body back on the bike. I heat shrinked all the connections and covered the wires. I also used a panel adhesive to attach the wires to the body to keep them away from the wheels. Once I had everything put back together I went to check out the lights. 1.All lights worked until I got to the left turn signal, upon hitting the switch it blew the fuse. 2.Replaced the fuse, checked all wiring and tried again. Fuse blew. 3.I pulled the harness out of the equation and the fuse blew when I hit the left turn signal. 4.Put the harness back in but left the rear part unplugged. The fuse did not blow but the left turn signal does not work. 5.Plugged the rear light harness back in and the fuse did not blow but the left turn signal still does not work. You can see below the way I wired it together. The right side is identical. I joined wires together as I ran them forward to minimize the number of wires. Ground to ground, power to power, etc. Any ideas on what to check? I really don’t want to get out the dremel and grind off the panel adhesive, but if that is what’s needed…
