Maxflow air filter - retune?
I just installed the Maxflow k&n style air filter - 5/8 inch thicker for more air flow. Only rode quick to work and back, but bike seems to run noticeably rougher. I did not expect much difference from just upgrading filter from previous k&n SE filter, but if anything, I would have thought it would lean it out a little and throttle response would be crisp. Throttle seems a little bogged down instead. Anybody add a wider air filter and it required a remap? I just ordered a different exhaust so will get it retuned in a few weeks, just did not expect to feel a negative impact from filter alone. Also, going to a Bassani Pro-Street from a V&H BR 2-1 - will the 2-2 pipe cause the bike to run leaner or richer?
