I stand corrected, I was guessing where the CLB table was. If the CLB table was considered a constant (i.e engine configuration), then you would need to start Smart tuning again.

IMPORTANT! The Smart tune table changes must be made with the same engine configuration that the recordings were created with. If any engine parameters have been changed such as cubic inch displacement or injector size during a calibration procedure, you must create new recordings for the Smart tune feature to work properly. You should not use old recordings that were created with different engine parameters.

Closed Loop Bias
– The Closed Loop Bias table skews the AFR from the nominal 14.6 AFR value. AFR can be skewed approximately ą 0.5 AFR.

o
Lower values will cause a leaner AFR.

o
Higher values will cause a richer AFR.
Closed loop bias is not used with lambda based calibrations.

My intent was not correct anybody, I just wanted to make I was not screwing it up again. I am still learning what not to do with the SESPT, having made many recordings that are no good.

I believe Grillfish has it right. If you have tuned using the narrow bands and you then change the clb tables you should re-tune. The o2 sensors only report a voltage and the clb values just set the switch point in the ecm. If you have a clb value of 758 with gas that has a stoich of 14.6 you will then have an afr target of 14.47. If your fuel has a stoich of 14.3 then the 758 setting will target 14.17. The lambda value for both would be .991. The only time you can adjust your clb's without re-tuning is when your ve tables have been calibrated with broadbands.

I am confused now (easily done). I am assuming when you say retune, you talking about using smartune to reset the VEs. How does changing CLB affect VEs? BTW- I do not see a CLB table for my tune.

Yes, if you have clb tables. Your bike is a lambda calibration so there are no clb's. Stoich for any fuel is lambda 1. Any number less is to the rich side.
