Thunderheader/Electronic Question
I'm gonna say up front that I am probably missing something. But I have tried quite a few google searches and I figure I'll just ask and if you want to give me a link or redirect me, then that would be great, too.
But, I am thinking of buying a 2 into 1 Thunderheader for a Road Glide with a 103 in it. I would also get an air cleaner, but as far as not harming the motor, I can't find the answers that I am looking for.
So, here are my questions:
For starters, as far as fuel management, would I just be able to use one of those Night Rider Xied things? Or do I NEED to have a power commander or some kind of plug in tuner?
In other words, will the plug in o2 sensor deals work alone for adjusting the fuel/air mixture sufficiently, and prevent any mechanical damage?
And the second question is, if I do go with a Thunderheader, is the baffle tuning neccessary, or is I just recommended? Not that it WON'T be done eventually, but it's not yet where I'd really want to put my money from the beginning unless I have to.
