Yeah, I've got a strong suspicion that's where the problem lies.....I just dropped off my scoot at my local shop so they can replace the master cylinder they broke and the service manager told me is sounds like a grounding problem caused by....wait for it.....bottoming out!

i had one of those controllers, it made my turn signals in to 4 way flashers, just generally screwed up my whole lighting system, took it off an every thing works great.
