HFSM Setup Insructions

For those that would like a quick break down of how to install the hands free security module (no button on the fob) that I just got setup on my Electra Glide Classic today.

---- NOTE ----
The fob activation must be programmed at the dealer this is only to install the HFSM to reduce the cost of the installation.

Ignition switch (on lower dash cap) must be off for at least 15 seconds.

Install TSM/HFSM per the service manual instructions

Set engine stop switch on the right handle bar to RUN

Put the bike in neutral

Turn ignition switch to ignition

Wait for engine and security lights to illuminate and then go out

Attempt normal start one time

Engine should start then stall and engine light should illuminate and stay on

Wait ten seconds then security lamp should illuminate

Wait for security lamp to go out which is 10 minutes

Then turn ignition to off and back to ignition within one second

Security lamp should illuminate and wait for it to go out, another 10 minute wait

Then turn ignition to off and back to ignition within one second

Security lamp should illuminate and wait for it to go out, yet another 10 minute wait

Then turn ignition to off and back to ignition within one second

Then turn ignition switch off for at least 15 seconds and then turn on, start bike.

You are all set and the bike should start without issue and stay running. Test this a few times to ensure everything is functioning properly.
