Spark Plug Interference
Does anyone have any information about the brand name (Magnum Shielding), model (Sterling Chromite II); spark plug wires. I have a set that I want to put on a 06 Road King Custom. I have been told by the Harley Techs that I will experience interference because the wires are chrome braided. It says as far as I can figure on their website that they won't interfere with any computer module on any year bike. www.magnumshielding.com Has anyone used this particular set on any Harley that has computer modules, and has anyone experienced any interference? Don't know about these wires, just make sure that you are using a resistor type plug wire and you should be OK. NEVER USE a solid core, non resistor type plugwire on an EFI application. Your chrome shielding should not pose an electrical interferenceproblem.
