Starter????
I have an 09 Ultra Classic with 26000 miles on it and intermittently [about every 10-15 times I start it] I get a grinding sound after the initial engagement of the starter & it begins to turn over. This seems to happen more often when the engine is warm....but also does it on a cold start. I am leaning toward the starter begin bad.....but wanted to see if anyone has had or heard of this issue before I spend my time and money on a new starter only to find out that isn't the problem. If it is the starter would you rebuild or just replace?

Starter is fine. Your starter clutch is bad. Remove the starter and replace the starter clutch with an aftermarket unit like an Allballs unit. https://www.google.com/shopping/prod...ed=0CGQQ8wIwBA
