Im putting some pipes and air cleaner on my 2007 electra glide and was woundering if anyone knows of anyone that is good at dyno tunning in my area. Im in the three rivers, Mi area. Close to kalamazoo about 20 miles.
I know that Perrys HD. Does tuning. Are they any good?
man, you've narrowed down your possibilities to almost nothing in that radius. You really should think about a little further out maybe. There are folks here in Houston that have brought their bikes as far as Florida for Doc to tune them.
Bishops Performance in Detroit has a good reputation for SE Tuning - 150 miles
Gilberts H-D in Port Huron also has a good reputation - 200 miles
Hammer in Hand Custom Cycle in Lansing has a great reputation for tuning
Holley Smokes, 150 to 200 miles away gosh. Problem Is I have no trailer to hall this bike anywhere. Once I get the changes on er done, So I guess I would have to look for a enclosed bike trailer to barrow. They say to stay away from the dealers for tunning. Why is that??
More help please.
Know my 2004 fat boy was dyno tuned at a hd dealer in ann arbor with the stage one kit on er. all new. when I bought her and ran very well. I took her up to perrys one year to just run on dyno for 50 bucks and She made the most hp and tq they seen on the 88ci with the stage 1 kit they were impressed and kept asking me more about the bike. IDK. That fat boy ran very well and if that dealer was still in buss I would take my bike there. to get dynoed. But I beleave there no longer in buss.
Thanks for all your help. Keep it commen.. Pace...
and plus the benefit of doing that is you'll know exactly what it felt like right before the tune, and you'll have a lot of fun playing with it after the tune on your way home.
