Default Programing Question

OK so In my line of work i deal with a lot of computer programing (on drill rigs). However I have the tools to be able to read and program can open, J1939, networks. I know i can tie into the programing port on my bike with my laptop and i am pretty sure that the Harley ECM is Can Open. I want to play around and see if i can change or download new fuel maps etc... Has anyone ever messed with anything like this or have some input from experience with it.

Thanks

good luck

there is no such thing as a 'fuel map' per se in the ECM, etc. THAT is why we use tuning products that give us a decent GUI on the HMI. There are actually 100s of tables etc in an ECM.
