I am having problems with my new 2013 Road King that I bought in January this year. It runs fine for the first 30 to 40 minutes but when the bike warms up the engine vibrates and the engine makes noises like it is really hot or it is way out of time or one cylinder is missing real bad. It is hard to describe. I have noticed on days when the air temp is in the low 60s it seems to do fine. The other day it got up to 78 degrees and the bike ran rough and the engine was really clunking after about 35 minutes. I have also noticed that I am getting about 45 miles per gallon before the vibrations and noise start and the mileage drops to about 41 after the problems arise.
I have installed the Pro Billet Stage I air cleaner and the JackPot headers from Fuel Moto along with the Power Vision unit. I have flashed a new map to the ECM that Jamie sent with the Power Vision unit but is hasn't corrected the problem. I plan to do some Autotuning with the Power Vision next. My Power Vision unit had a short in the connectors and I had to send back to Dynojet and they sent me a new unit today.
Anyone know of some dealer or shop that may be able to help. I live in lower Alabama just west of Mobile and will take the bike anywhen I have to. I really want to get his thing fixed.
I am really lost as to what the problem is. The dealer keeps telling me they can't duplicate the problem. Maybe when the temperature gets up and stays up
