Bad Battery?

Went to start the Springer yesterday for the 1st time in a couple weeks (finally had a nice day) and it cranked once & started clicking. Put it on the battery tender overnight and the LCD was showing green this morning (should indicate a full charge, right?) Tried to fire it up & got the same reaction. Put the tender back on and the LCD went right to "green" after about a minute. The bike's less than a year old but I'm guessing maybe a bad battery. Anyone else experience this or have any thoughts?

I agree. Try taking your battery cables off and cleaning them up. Then recharge the battery.

If that doesn't helpcheck battery voltage afterthe charger indicates its fully charged. If its less than 13 volts it's probably a badcharger.

Another thing to check after the battery and cables...is too look at the stud on top of the starter. This area is known for heavy corrosion and dirt which leads to a poor connection. There should be a black rubber cap there. If indeed corroded, disconnect the battery before cleaning that stud...because the stud is hot. It is very likely that it will spark!
