Fatboy 2008
I've got fatboy 2008 big bore stage 4 with v&h short with if 2000 power pro
After I took it to the shop installing the if power pro I couldn't help seeing the wire hanging there" red and yellow top" ,and when I asked the guy in the shop what it is ?is it important.? He couldn't give me a straight answer..this the picture it's next to the air filter

That was plugged into the back of your stock backing plate. I'm not sure what the use is but when I threw a zippers hiflo air cleaner on the ol lady's street bob the instructions tell you to tuck it up behind your new backing plate. the kit included a piece that sticks to the back of the backing plate to hold the wire. The same piece is under the tank to hold your tank gauge wire.

thanks a lot MILTY. basically it dose not affect the engine performance cause my fat boy has a big bore stage 4 kit with decompression. 58 mm throttle body. tuned in harley shop in UAE with super tuner but I was not happy with the power I got. Bought a if2000 power pro and the bike run good loads off power , cooler , idles perfect but it did not eliminate my problem which is . when am cruising at 50 mph or more steady throttle the bike sounds like its suffocating or less fuel, but no back fire, the bike starts to slow down slowly but when i apply more throttle pass a certain point speed it runs good again basically I can't cruise in it
