Default 2012 Street Glide Issues

Thought I would post this to see if anyone else has had a similar issue.
2012 Street Glide - Stage one- Power Vision, S and S power tune duals, FM Air Cleaner, VH Hi-Output slip-ons.

Bike runs fine MOST of the time. Every now and then it will jump up in idle speed to around 1200-1300- then it will act like it is running out of gas; If I give it throttle I can keep it running if I keep the rpm's above 2,000. It will pop and sputter but, as long a I keep giving it throttle I can keep it running. After a few of these "spells" it will clear up. It also does this at hwy speeds too. I can be cruising at say 70mph and it "cut out" - loose power, if I give it throttle and keep it above say 2500-3000 rpm's I can keep it running until the "spell" clears.

I have had my indie look at it and he could find no issue- it is an intermittent problem and didn't act up on him. It is not throwing any codes.

I have re-flashed the ecm with the original FM program. I have replaced the fuel filter. I have cleaned the throttle body with sea foam spray- this seemed to clear the problem up for a couple of months. It has come back as of yesterday.

Any ideas? I am thinking I may need to remove the throttle body and dis-assemble and clean? Anyone else experienced anything like this?

Oh- I have also unplugged the connector to the throttle body and added Di-electric grease- did this to the ECM connector as well.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would say to call FM.
They should be answering the phones about now.

X2......the stock tune is in p.v. if you could replace the fm tune for stock. That may eliminate the issue.....then go from there.

Could be a lot of things:

1. broken wire somewhere under the tank
2. fuel injectors bad (not likely)
3. dirty/bad TMAP sensor
4. bad engine temp sensor (not likely)

I had an intermitted issue and finally took it to a dealer. They ended up running the bike with the tank off, wiggling all the wires to/from the engine components/ECM and it ended up being a broken wire to a fuel injector.

Do you buy your fuel from the same place every time? If not, does it happen after buying fuel from a particular station? Just a thought

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes. I do buy my fuel at the same place.
May give fuel moto a call. After researching some .....seems like it could be the ETS. The symptoms are identical to what others have had when it was the ETS. I believe the sensor is around 30$. May give it a try.

May also want to clean that dilectric grease off. I just had an issue wth my led lights in my rear fender. The brake lights got stuck on and i tracked it down to the dilectric grease in the plug from the main harness to the jumper wires. Once i cleaned that junk out everything seems to work as it should
