The executable is virtually impossible to crack, expecially of you do not know what softare was usedto create it. Somehowsomebody has toget thier hands on the souce code and work from there. It will almost alwayslead back to a former, disgruntal or gready employee that worked with the source code at sometime.

I seriously doubt anyone couldhack into a SERT without INSIDEhelp or knowledge....so expect an FBI investigation.

I don't doubt it at all. It just requires reverse engineering it and there are tons of tools to do it. Now as far as the pyramids are concerned, that required aliens.

All I'm saying is there is no need to "crack" any software. Simply replace the chip that stores the vin. Somewhere in my past life I too did a little software work(about 35 years of assembly language code) but I'm too old and forgot everything but how to have sex and ride a bike...but not at the same time cause I get confused about when to shift.[sm=idontcare.gif]
Getting the chip will require some INSIDEhelp.Once again expect the FBI.HD won'tturn a blind eye on this. They are one of the best at protecting thierproducts andtrademarks.

There are 15 year olds that do this stuff fun, all it requires is know how and time. I'm glad that I'm getting to old and stupid to know how. I know 15 or 20 Years back they used to get together and have hacking parties to see where they could go and what they could reverse engineer. I would think if the Fed's were going to investigate it would have been2 years ago whenit was going on. If I remember right the person who reworked the exe was from another country.Since then the MoCo switched file formats which should have rendered the worked over exe file useless on anything exceptbikes that could use the mt5 file format.

Married to the bike/VIN. In fact, if you get your ECM replaced, you must have the VIN put back in it, or your SERT will be useless.
Not if you put a Thundermax in you don't. The thundermax replaces yer factory Ecm and with the Auto Tune it tunes itself.
I took my factory ecm off.
