I want dual filament rear signals. I realize I need dual filament bulbs. Then after that...?? Do I tie into the running light on the rear brake? What's the easiest way to do this? I am only running a tail light in the rear and would like the signals lit up so the a-holes out there actually see me. Thanks, Glenn
I had the same concern. I replaced my single-filament rear blinkers with these cheap dual-filament signals. They ground through the signal body to the strut - no ground wire. Then I clamped separate amp multi-lock connectors on to each red wire & plugged them into the power slot on the turn signal connector to get the 23w turn blink, then clamped both black wires together on a single amp multi-lock connector to plug into the tail light running light plug to get the 8w running lights. Worked out OK for me.

Could you send me a link as to what you mean by separate amp multi lock connector and the multi lock connector the black wires were clamped to. I think I understand what you're saying but I want to be sure. I'd appreciate it. Thanks
If you have a service manual, the electrical section of the appendix should describe Amp MultiLock connectors. Attached is 1st page of the description from manual for my '04 Dyna Defender.
I got my extra MultiLock socket housings & terminals here. But your local HD dealer can supply them also. I purchased an Amp connector tool off ebay for $20 I think. Makes working with Amp MultiLocks a lot easier, but is not absolutely necessary. Careful work with needlenose pliers will accomplish same thing.
Why don't you just get the run/turn/brake module from HD plug it in and be done with it. No need to be changing sockets and plugs around, the module increases voltage to change intensity of the light bulb.
