Code P0572

My check engine light came on. I did the diagnostic check and the code P0572 appeared and I noticed my back brake light is constantly on, I hit the brake pedal and it still stays on. What does that mean, what type of part do I need to purchase and how hard will it be to fix it? Thanks

From:

First try unplugging the rear brake light switch and see if light goes out. If it does replace the switch.

Yeah, sounds like the switch. After replacing it you might have to bleed the rear brake. The switch is closed when hydraulic pressure is felt on the brake line. If your brake is operating properly (releases) then the switch should be (electrically) open.
