TGS Throttle grip sensor problem
Ok, I hope someone can help me here. My buddy has an 09 Street Glide. Just installed new cams and a Thundermax Autotune. When you fire the bike up it runs GREAT! But when you shut it off it throws the TGS1 code which puts it in Limited Performance mode which is only 4000 RPM. We road today for about 100 miles with no trouble until you shut the bike off and then you have to reset the code. We put the Harley module back in and it did not throw any codes. Put the Tmax back in and still faults. If you restart the bike in like 10 seconds after shutting it off, it'll run fine. Harley says it takes 4 seconds before throwing the code on their module not sure about the Tmax. Tmax says sensor is bad but I don't want to replace it until I know it's bad because they are $104. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's one of the wires in the #204 plug. We plugged and unplugged that connector about 10 times over the last few days and it didn't help anything. I grabbed it and bent the wires over and squeezed it hard to try to make it fault and now it never faults. We'll just have to wait and see. At least we know where the problem is now.
