Dear Fellow riders,
Im feeling a little dumb and set back right this minute for after about two hours of searching the net and putting in everything I can think of in the search browser I still cannot find a answer to what I hope one of you can quickly tell me what this wire is.
Ive had this bike since September and I must admit Im sure ive seen this wire before but just didn't stop doing what I was at the time to really look at it. Now this is not my first Harley Davidson not even my third or fourth, there has been plenty but I just don't remember this wire.
2008 Fxstc Softtail custom 96 ci engine, this wire is hanging right under the air cleaner plate and is slightly visible from standing at the right side back of bike looking right in the "V" , this wire looks factory and is capped and has I think it has three wires I can see in the harness, Looking up under and around the cleaner you can see this wire coming down out of the harness form under the tank.
Does anyone know what I might be looking at and why its there, I did notice it has double sided tape stuck on the wire and had been stuck to the back side of the air cleaner plate and I think would have been hidden until the tape let go.
