Problem Starting
I am having an issue with starting. I have a 1986 sporty. I was having an issue for about 3 months where it would just make a clicking noise when depressed the ignition switch, but would eventually start. I rode it until it would not start anymore at all. The relay just clicks when I try to start it.
I tried a new relay and a new starter motor and solenoid. I have no idea what it could be at this point. I did cut off the instrument cluster, but would not think this would short out anything that would hinder the starter. I'm at a loss here. Any info is appreciated...This is driving me f'ing crazy.
