2002 codes

What pins exactly have to get shorted to get the diagnostic codes to show ? At the ECM ?

What plug is the data plug? I shorted the 1 and 2 pins and I get the 1-10 clr but no flashing. When I would normally start it, the red light turns on then off but will turn back on and then off so I should get some codes, or flashes to give me codes but I'm not getting that. When I look for codes, my right directional turns on though.

It's a hanging connector with a plug in the end AFAIK, probably under the seat. If you go to this parts list, choose your year and model, take a look at the 1st wiring diagram, where you can see it illustrated. Hopefully that will help you find yours!
