I always helps to indicate the year/model of your bike. Tha starter motor makes it 1980 or older.
The top of the one you are pointing to connects to the 1/4" fitting on the oil tank. It is a vent line.
The disconnected line in the second pic looks like a vacuum line that would attach to the carb. 1980 and older had none of these.
It possibly could also be the vent line for the transmission? If so it does not connect to anything - it just runs straight up under the seat then loops facing down.

Sorry it's a 1977 ironhead. The 2nd pic, the small tube connects to a bolt with a nipple in the middle.
the first pic, I'll have to run it to the oil tank. I'm building a custom bike out of this bike. When I ride the bike after a mess of work, this line did blow out some oil. Thanks!
The small line is the transmission vent. Run it straight up then loop it down about an inch or so and secure it somewhere with a zip tie or whatever. It will be rare [probably never] that anything will drip out of it.
