E-Starter problems (Timing?)

It is not the bendix gear. I just replaced it with a new one. I am going to replace solenoid next. While the new solenoid is in the mail I am going to bypass the switch. See if it is electrical.

From the video, it looks to me like the bendix is turning, but it's not engaging the ring gear on the clutch hub. It appears to move a little, but not far enough to engage. That's likely either the hinge part that pushes it out or the solenoid.

Thanks Paul. I have not replaced 31424-67 SHIFT LEVER, starter gear or the PIVOT BOLT, shift lever. I suppose these could be worn out or bent when the starter shaft was broken.
I have a spare solenoid. I am going to try it today. Not much money for the above parts likely just replace them.

No dice on the spare solenoid. Both solenoid could be bad. I did replace both bearing when I installed the new starter shaft. I don't see how that could affect anything. I am suspect of the housing.
