Default Spark plug wires

Looking things over for general maintenance and probably will replace the spark plug wires. Best suggestions for an '82 Sporty with electronic ignition? I know they have to be high resistance carbon core. I'm sure that most that are available now fit that criteria but open for suggestions.
Thank you Sirs

Any Brand Name carbon core wires will work. Just get a set for a Sportster with 1 long and 1 short wire.

7 MM is original they sell 8 MM in carbon - no spiral wire it signals back to the ignition and can blow it out

Thank you Gents. I decided to go for a new system including the wires ( I think I'm going with the Ultima 53-660).

ULTIMA 53-660????? I HAD that in my 77. It crappeed out after 2500 miles. They are Dynatek copies. I'm running a mechanical advance unit and Dyna S dual fire ignition unit. Kind of modern/primitive set up but IT WORKS! Hall Effect trigger and mechanical advance. No matter what setting switches ya use, NONE with be correct for an Ironhead engine. All are slow and soft. I have the programming software on a laptop and recurved mi failed one tomatch the OEM advance curve, and set it for 0 Dead Revs (optional of kick start,) and it hauled *** . . . . till it decided to just stop working.

The key to getting full advance with an Ultima ignition is to ground the purple wire or use VOES on that wire.

I did have one fail in my garage after a year but the replacement has been going strong for many more.
