I want to open original shock absorber BY GABRIEL on my 1977 Ironhead not damaging it. Does Anyone has an idea how to do it ? It looks like there is no oil inside.
I have very little experience servicing shocks. What I do have is experience servicing one pair. It required a special tool for that one brand name - the seller lent me the tool. Even with the tool it is a risky operation as there is a lot of pressure in the workings. My indie mechanic had three tools, none of which were useful for this one brand.
