A stock exhaust system from '82 - '85 will fit for sure, and maybe an '80 and '81 will too, but I'm not sure. The aftermarket slip-ons made for '80 - '87 will work perfectly, and have the built-in brake pedal stop. I'm thinking the later slip-ons may not have this stop, but again, I'm not positive.

I found this nice stock system on eBay for my '83. The only thing missing was the crossover heat shield, which would have been black. I boughta chrome one from an Evo and cut it down to fit. I've since replaced the stock mufflers with Dyno-Power slip ons.

thats cool how much do the dyno power slipons cost and were can i get them I got lucky and everything on the bike is stock except the slipons and S&S carb. Your system looks nice and thanks again for all your help

I bought mine on eBay ($40), but you can get them for around $135 from most mail-order houses, like J&P. There are plenty of other brands, too. Just make sure the front muffler has a combination mounting bracket/brake stop welded on if you want a clean installation.
