Anyone happen to have the paint code for the 1977 blue?

If you want to match paint, the easiest thing to do is take a piece of the painted item you want to match in to an auto paint seller. They will scope it and match it perfectly......pg

Jestermail,

I also own a 1977 sportster and was looking to paint new fenders and tank. The original fenders and tank are put away for safe keeping.

There are two places, in the nation, where you can get the original Harley paint codes.

1) Antique Cycle Supply - 616-636-8200

2) John Perice - 603-942-5610

I've dealt with both of them and they will help you in any way they can. They have the old Harley paint code books and will mix the paint for you. Just one warning, the paint is not cheap!

I wish I had the color to match but I don't. Thanks for the contact info Scarlet, I give it a try. I haven't been able to find anyone who has codes older than 86.
