putting mufflers on pipes
I have a iron head sportster with upsweep exhaust can i put mufflers on them or baffles in them to quiet them down I like the upsweep exhaust on the bobber bike thanks charly

I bought the 4" baffles that are commonly seen. I got them from J.C. Whitney, but I eventually pitched them - they neither held sufficient back pressure, nor reduced the noise at all as far as I could tell. I got better results, both with performance, and a little noise reduction, from some plumbing I made up myself from Home Depot...
