Default Average MPG

So I wanted to lighten up the mood around this place a little bit and start a thread just for fun. Seems like there have been a lot of question/problem threads on here (which I have started my fair share), so I thought I would start this to get peoples minds off troubleshooting and worrying. I would have started a poll but I don't have privelage to do it.

So on with the question. Just for fun I thought I would ask what MPG you guys are getting and what type set up you have. Meaning what type carb, what size bore, and what year. I'm sure that everyone would like to know since the huge increase in gas prices.

I'll start:

Average 35 MPG. It's a 76, with a Mikuni VM38, and it's bored 10 over.

I can get close to 50 mpg on the highway most of the time. I've never checked it around town. 1983 XLX - stock bore - stock carb with larger jets, accelerator pump kit, choke plate removed - SE air cleaner w/K&N filter - stock header w/crossover, Dyno Power mufflers - 23/49 sprocket combo.

84 , 30 over , S&S super e , i toned down the jet size , and dont really remember what size right now because i have sometimers. havent checked the mpg in awhile , but the last time checked it was getting 43mpg on the hwy , and running at any speed over 70 you might as well unscrew the petcock and let it drain out.

The best I ever got out of the 'ol 900 was 50-mpg HWY at a consistent 60-mph.....S&S "B", stock "P" cams, 23-tooth front sprocket, mag ignition, ported heads (more like hogged out), Manley stainless valves, no passenger, a sleeping bagand sober.
