What Gauge wireing should I be using?? When you splice the wiring are you using but crimps and then heat shrinking the connection??

Thats an Idea!! I will have to give that a shot after I re-charge !! Wonder if any one has a diagram of the way the regulator is supposed to be wired??

With the solid state you just splice the lines / not terminals?? Do the mounting holes line up??

Mine had an in lineharness connector (4 or 5wire plug I think). Some of the wires had to be spliced on the bike side of the connector. I used straight in line connectors with heat shrink over them. All of the mounting holes on the regulator did not line up so I lined up the bottom ones and drilled a mounting hole for the top one. Used a self tapping screw there. The wire guage can be determined by the amp draw of the curcuit you are doing if you want to run new wire.
