Default RE: timing question

The line is 40 degrees BTC it is the front cylinder advance timing mark 1971 and later.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
With the line in the hole and the points set at .018 and a test light to the points and ground move the back plate until the points just break on the narrow lob. &nbsp\\;The cam lob must be held in the advance position.\\\\\\;
