I finally got my bike together after working on it all winter. I ran it for a week on the stand and it sounded great. I took it off and rode it. I got 5 miles on it and it started spitting and back firing so I brought it back and checked it out. I lost compression on my front cylinder, I mean 0 comp. I don't understand what happened can anyone help.

If you have zero compression then you have a huge problem on your hands.
I would first check the push rods to make sure they are not tight (keeping the valves open) and then start removing the front head.
In any case this is not good news. Whatever happened at the very least there is valve damage. And, there could be that, plus a hole in the piston. That will be about the worst situation, so I hope that is not the case.......... pg
