Tank and Fender decals..
You helped another asking for similar info so I figured I too would ask. I have a 1973 Sportster that I bought new. It was stolen and recovered some time back. During the time it was out of my possession changes were made. I remember it had red white and blue stripes down the front and rear fender. It also had a Harley/amf name decal on both sides of the tank and it had some colored(?) bars that went across the top and sides of the tank. Does anyone have a color pic of a stock AMF 73 sportster that matches my memory or close to it? I have tried several other web sites but their machines are not stock. Once I find a pic I will try to find decals or take another approach to return back to stock. THANKS for any help.
The parts catalog 99451-78B would help in your search. It has a page or two of various tank decals used up to 1978. These are just black & white schematics but the design is there.

Sorry, I do not have any pics from 1973.
In my very limited collection of old stuff, I do have color sales brochures from 1970, 1971, & 1974 but that's about it.
As Mick suggests, the parts catalog may be your best bet until something better comes along.
