Being I saw that, I am going to take my primary cover off to see what is in mine .Never even thought to look in there ,what should I be looking for that would get my attention for wear Thanks
You need to look at the chain tensioner it pivots on the bolt that sticks out the bottom of the primary cover below the crankshaft and is springloaded. With the primary cover off pull the metal piece out an flip over and look at the 2 screws that hold the plastic block in place. Also check the plastic block for excessive wear. Both my screws found their way to the magnetic drain plug so nothing but the case was damaged (bad enough though lol)
i am not sure on the james gaskets, some have had good luck, i have not, been fighting oil leaks for a few years now allways used james gasket, goin to look into a dif brand this year lol
