68 xlch help

Default 68 xlch help

i have a 1968 xlch thats been rebuilt about 3 times, after the last time i broke it i decided to lift it back up from the slam i did on it and change the oil tank, does anyone have any advise on good mods to help this thing stay on the road and mostly reliable?

carefull routine maintenance keeps them running well and reliable.
If you make changes and you aren't carefull about the re-assembly then you are running the risk of something failing on the road.

the devil is in the details...I think is the expression

Must have the factory parts catalog 99451-78B and the factory service manual 99484-69. Must read these from cover to cover. And haunt the various IronHead forums.
