welcome from washington state. Nice find. just ride it and fix it as you go. they are such a thrill to ride. you don't need 100 horsepower to grinn and make memories when you ride. If you shoud get tired of it... just contact me.

You have found quite a treasure ! Be VERY careful who you deal with !!! Those tanks alone go for $1100.00 ! '47 tanks where a one year tank,Nuks have many different parts depending on the year it was made. If you're going to restore it ,you have to decide if you want a show winner which will require a lot of research on your part. If you just want it to look good and ride it,you can use after market parts. I've had 41 years of experience with Knuckleheads ,so I would first, suggest you join the Antique Motorcycle club of America. Good source of possible parts and others who share a love for the old bikes. Used Nuk parts are extremely valuable these days so don't trade any parts etc. Keep all the old parts you can find ,you'll need them. You may find owning a Knucklehead to be a lifetime passion !
