LiveWire Livewire
tell that ONE owner to get on ANY of the electric bike forums and make this claim. That way all of the (few) other Livewire owners that are on there can get a good laugh.
hell, even owners ON THIS PAGE aren’t making that claim!
Ya know...since NOBODY is able to get that mileage out of anything less than 21.5kW battery. Since NOBODY is talking about this ANYWHERE else. since getting that sort of milage out of such a small battery would be completely REVOLUTIONARY to the ENTIRE industry. Since NOT A SINGLE OTHER OWNER has posted getting ANYTHING like that for miles.
but you “know a guy”
please.

Just got back home from 95 mile ride around Galveston Bay area. Had 11% battery left and took 1hr.5 minutes to charge on DC fast charge at HD dealer. Instrument panel showing 130 range after charging. Rode ECO mode at average 55mph.

They also have an interesting thread where people are listing the last 4 of their VIN, and their badge number for the first 500 bikes. So far highest badge number is #113 and he has 0551 for his VIN, there is a VIN of 0621 with no badge number yet ( sounds like they are mailed out later). But can we surmise that since 0621 is 70 more than 0551 that there are at least 183 livewires out on the streets now?

55 IS NOT freeway speeds. Sure it is max speed SOME places, but over all 65 to 70 is the speed that all companies use to calculate their freeway range.
so I’m right. 130 miles of freeway range is bullshit.
***EDIT: as the information was presented as a “highway” that most people, including Harley, use 65-70 as a reference speed. For basically a bit faster than city (45 mph) and for riding conservatively, 130 makes complete sense and is line with the 145 city estimate that Harley provides***
im damn positive my SR/F would get pretty much the same thing on mostly flat roads at 55 mph.
