It's a beautiful bike. Be a shame if it doesn't make it.

I mean, it goes... alright, but it's not as quick (in a straight line) as my regular bike, and it does it without any of the raucousness which is half the reason I ride a big twin over all my buddies on their R1's and Speed Triples anyway. In the right hands the LiveWire is a wicked fast bike (as is any bike with a good rider really) but as it's not faster than what I usually ride (as obviously throwing it through the twisties i'm way more confident, and therefore faster on my normal bike), that side of it was lost on me.

Other than that... I just see it as a really expensive super naked, which is what it is really. As I'm not in the market for a super naked (I already have a Triumph Thruxton so no need for two) it's not something that appeals to me... the problem is when I point out that I don't like the bike, people tend to get offended by the comments.
So your "regular" bike does 0-60 mph in 3 seconds? that's impressive. what is it?

People get offended by just about everything :-)

...at various times in my riding career lo! an entire half-century-plus, every make of bike I've ridden has been trashed by someone or someones. The worst venom interestingly was reserved for (my) HD and Boss Hoss bikes. But there was plenty to go around for the one Norton, the two Triumphs, the three Suzukis, the one Kawasaki, the four Hondas, the one MV Agusta and even the one BMW Puch (my first scooter :-) ). I never owned a Yamaha (although I seriously lusted after an RD350 back in the day) nor an Enfield nor a Ducati, but if I had, I'm sure someone would have trashed them.

Lowest cc rating: Suzuki RV90. 90 cc. My second bike. I loved that bike!
Highest cc rating: Boss Hoss Big Block 502. 8200cc. My last-but-three bike. I loved that bike!
Unknown cc rating: HD LiveWire. No ccs at all according to my insurer and the DMV-equivalent here downunder. I love this bike!

Heck, if I owned a Vincent I'm sure a claque of Vincent-haters would spring out of the woodwork to cry "crap bike! unclean! burn the heretic!" etc.

Yup, I agree! 53 years riding so far here. I have not owned as many different bikes as you over those years (3 Hondas, 3 Suzuki's, 4 BMW's, 1 Kawasaki, and 2 Harley's) but the cc span was 50 to 1750 on my Ultra Limited. My philosophy has been 'if it has two wheels and a propulsion system I can have fun with it!' I watched a YouTube video recently where an engineering student converted an automotive alternator to a motor, hooked it to a Lithium battery, mounted it to his bicycle, and blasted off into the sunset at up to 60 KPH (37 MPH). What magnificent fun!

Those are the two wheeled adventures I adore as it reminds me of my own stupid projects over the years but it looked like a blast.

Kudos to you for surviving...especially that Hoss!
