I have a question. I have never taken a LiveWire out for a demo, but I am curious about one thing. Does the LiveWire make a sound or emit a sound between 0 and 20 mph? The government has a regulation that all electric vehicles must made a sound between these speeds to let pedestrians know that is a vehicle coming. I looked at one and can't seem to find the module that would emit a sound, which is why I'm asking. I know on a lot of EV cars and trucks, they are buried in the engine compartment.
Anyone with some insight that could let me know would be great.
My livewire emits a 'whine' from the gear/belt interaction. There is no other sound producing device other than the tiny motorcycle horn.
These bikes are quiet, even at speed. Not sure if the whine will go away with break in or if it's permanent.

As I recall from the Livewire announcements when it was first launched, that gear whine was designed on purpose to give the Livewire it's own distinct sound.
Well I have no Livewire but a Energica Ribelle, when I bought this I was hesitating between the two, but in the end I chose the Energica because of the larger battery capacity of 21.5 kWh compared to 15.5 kWh and the higher torque of 215Nm and higher topspeed.
In retrospect, I would have preferred the sound of the Livewire because with the Energica it continues to howl like a sick cat and that eventually becomes annoying when you drive a little longer, I would have preferred it to stop whining from 25mph like my i3.
It only "applies to electric and hybrid-electric passenger cars, MPVs, light trucks, and buses with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less and to low speed vehicles (LSVs)"

This might not be what you mean, but calling to another URL from livewire sounds like you need an "action class" for updates. Both the other URL controller and the livewire component call that class directly rather then livewire having to do updates through a controler URL.
