Okay so here's my Struggle. I own a seventy four Shovelhead. I wanted a daily rider but it's not a daily rider .I bought it from this guy who said it's been completely rebuilt from the bottom up. Upgraded to stage 2 I think he said. You won't have any problems for years to come... It's got problems and no front break at the Moment and the front brake is my son's fault for putting dot 3 in instead of dot 5. The dot 3 ate the seals and fluid leaked out everywhere.ruined my starter button etc... I have an opportunity to trade it for an evo. Problem is I love shovelheads. I'm not really familiar with the evos and my Shovel Heads valued at about 15000 the Evo is about 5500.And he wants to Trade straight across.I really need a daily rider though. What to do what to do what to do the struggle is real.

First issue is you believed the seller without any paperwork or proof that it was rebuilt and a stage 2. Sellers can say anything and unless you are knowledgeable and not gullible, you will have the wool pulled over your eyes.
Second issue is your son is not knowledgeable either and did not bother to check the H-D FSM for procedures.

Sounds like he posed in the correct place, he is indeed a livewiire; however, not the motorcycle kind.
Take responsibility for your sons error and resolve the problem by fixing it or take it to someone who knows these bikes.
Otherwise, just move on, and unless you ask for help on how to fix the problem you will be viewed as a whiny Karen.

Ummm, wouldn't Twisted Biker be TB and not MF??? oh and FYI (not defending TB he doesn't need it- but from MY POV) TB is one of the more helpful, straight up guys around here so- you are the one who doesn't know who what etc etc. Judging by your lash-out, I'd also say he sized you up pretty well.
