This is the 3rd seat we have had done by Mean City Cycles. The first 2 were for the wifes bikes. This time it was for my 05 EGC.

Seat was done on the 3rd. Got a call about 1130 am saying my seat was done and would be shipped back that day. It arrived today.

Excellent job once again. True proffesionals thruout the process.

Couple of points for anyone else getting there seat done.

1. Finding a shipping box. I had a hard time finding one that wasnt to big. Ended up at U-Haul to look at there packing boxes. They have a lay down box for clothes. The seat fit perfectly. Cost $6.00

2. Shipping. Got racked over the coals using USPS. Came back Fed EX and was 1/2 the price. Included tracking number. USPS only included confirmation of reciept.

Thanks again for a job well done. Brother and friend from work both want to see how it turned out so I wouldnt be surprised if they purchased.

GREAT! We try to tell everybody about shipping cost and help save money when shipping a seat in and can't over emphasize the importance of using a box that isn't too large because UPS/FedEx will rape you on shipping cost on a oversized box. I always recommend checking with your local dealers when looking for a box because these boxes are the perfect size and is a standard shipping size box and the shipping cost won't be too bad on them. I also recommend not using a UPS store or Kinkos, try to drop them off directly at the main UPS/Fedex hub because these little shipping stores add to the actual shipping cost, that’s how they stay in business and they will stick it to you too.

My badlander seat has a date with Mean City on 4/27/09.....It'll be shipped out this week, and I'm already drooling for when it comes back with some fancy memory foam.
