Default Shipping seat to Mean City Cycles?

About ready to send my seat (09 Ultra) to Mean City Cycles for some of that chushy memory foam. If fact two other friends will also follow suit. Trying to find a suitable strong box, close to size of the seat for shipping. You guys that have already did this, any particular place or type of box that is close to the seat size? Thanks

Dan, I am thinking of sending my seat to them also. I think I will measure the seat, go to a local grocery store and try to find a produce box that has a strong lid for shipping.....just a thought.

I took mine to the UPS store for shipping and they had a box there, worked fine. You will enjoy the mod, think hard about adding all the bells and whistles, I got the memory foam, always wondered what the gel seat would have done for it.

You can always make your box to fit. I sent mine a few years ago and have had no complaints!

I went to u-haul and bought a moving box. Worked great. Mean City did a great job on my seat. You'll love their work.

Don't laugh,I wrapped mine in 2 trashbags with duct tape. Post Office shipped it and that is how I got it back. No problems. Getting ready to send it back for some rework. I'll send it the same way, this time.

Easy one for me. I still have the box(and the plastic wrapper) my Sundowner seat came in.
