Milwaukee Eight Threads
Many of you asked for a new Milwaukee Eight (M8) forum. The IT staff set this up for us to post. It wasn't put in the Touring Forum because the M8 will be offered in other model bikes.

Has there been any discovery if in fact the Moco can see if you flash the ECM?
Is there an area of it that stores alterations?

The twin cam is 16 years old......
Do you really think the M8 was developed only for touring bikes? Do you believe they will keep the twin cam, or develop an entirely different engine, for the softails and dynas?
I already read an interview where a Harley exec said they originally used a balancer that made the engine 100% balanced, but changed it to only have around 75% balance, along with the rubber mounts, on the touring bikes for that Harley feel..... I'd be willing to bet that's next year's softail motor.....!!
And with the new sub frame shared between touring and dyna bikes in 2018 (OK, the frame is a rumor based on inside info), I'd also be willing to bet that all Harleys have the M8 in 2018.........
