Maybe the engine mounting bolts? Front and rear? Have read that some were loose when inspected and I think its part of the 1k service.

Going in for the 1000-mile service tomorrow team. I'll show the tech the squeak and hopefully with the normal 1k mile checks and me demoing the damn squeak it will be put to rest. If they haven't resolved it by the time I go back to pick it up, I won't. Not gonna bring it home till it's squeak free. And just so you know, this is not a faint, hard to hear, random squeak. Its every little bump or even imperfection in the road almost. My riding buddy heard it from a half block away. (he was standing in his driveway) And then I had him ride it down the road and I heard it a half block away. And to detail a little more, I eliminated the tour pack and lid, rear exhaust hangers and exhaust clamps. With the seat, side luggage, side covers off, rear exhaust completely unbolted and hanging freely and all exhaust clamps lose it still squeaks. I did lube the front engine mounts but it really seems to be coming from the rear somewhere. I read about a too-tight belt squeaking and I do think mines too tight, but this squeak can be reproduced without the bike moving, so dont really think its the belt. Can you tell Im obsessed with it!?

With the bike on the jiffy-stand not running, I can go to the right side rear of the bike, right hand on the rear crash bar, left hand on the tour pack rack and aggressively rock the bike from side to side and I guess front to rear a little. (no actual tire movement though) If I put the bike up on my homemade lift, the squeak cannot be reproduced. My lift makes contact with the frame and depending on position will either lift the rear or front wheel off the ground. I'm lifting the rear in this example. So with the rear tire on the ground, my movement apparently is making something actually move that isn't moving with the rear tire off the ground. Sounds like it would be easy to locate I know but NOT!
Coming up on 900 miles. At about 500, I started noticing a bad squeak when hitting a bump. Sounds just like my Road King did when my exhaust tip hangers were squeaking in the rubber insulators but not the case this time. I can make the squeak occur with the bike on the side stand and still can't locate it. (wearing me out) It's a loud, obnoxious squeak - sounds like metal to metal) From The right side of the bike (on side stand) I can grab the right rear crash bar with my right hand and the luggage rack with my left hand and just kinda rock the bike more side to side than forward to rear to create the squeak. I've loosened all exhaust, rear shock and tour pack hardware and removed side luggage. Hell, I could even record the sound probably and share it with you guys! Going in for my 1000 mile service soon. The shop sure ain't gonna like me. :-( Damn bike sounds like a worn out garbage truck.....

Same bike, same color, no squeak.. you'll find it.. I'd spray water at points on the bike see if it's go's, you know the dealer will wash it and you'll never know.
Relax - it's a squeak - have someone work with you to listen while you move it around - if you still can't find it - the dealer will. Breathe in, Breathe out....
I had squeak on my 2017,,, when they set up the handlebars and hand controls, the clear coated Brake & Clutch lines just about 2 inches from the metal fitting were rubbing the inner fairing.
Took the bike in for my 1000 mile service and to get rid of the damn squeak. Mission Accomplished !
The tech at first thought it was in the right rear shock. He swapped it out but the squeak remained. However, with the shock removed the squeak was gone. That got him looking and feeling the frame at various spots while the noise was being produced by me. Although I could make the squeak happen with my rocking method (audio file attached) the tech found a better way, by extending and collapsing the rear suspension by lifting then pushing down on the rear of the bike slowly. This made the squeak sound more like a popping noise instead of a squeak. He started focusing on what he referred to as the pivot shaft but found nothing wrong with it. However, while looking in that area and using an inspection mirror he discovered the right lower rear sub-frame bolt was not screwed fully into the frame. The outer frame is not threaded but the inner sub-frame is. The bolt had been started through from the outer side but hadn't properly found it's way into the inner sub-frame threads and had actually pushed the subframe in some (about a 1/4 inch) putting it in a bind before trying to find threads. He removed the bolt, cleaned up the threads by chasing them with a tap and oil and replaced the bolt. The bikes happy now and so am I. Hallelujah ! Pictures attached. Note that all pictures are after the problem was corrected. I didn't have my phone / camera with me when in the shop.
