What did you get in Torque gain from the Fuel Moto work?
This is what they were able to get out of mine. Keep in mind, in addition to the head-pipe, I had a stage II done with a torque cam, SE air cleaner, and Street Cannon slip-on's. It was Dyno tuned with a PV tuner.
My '16 RGS had a catless header, no complaints from the wife.
My '17 RGU, once we hit 85 degrees the wife started complaining about heat on her right leg. Did the Fuel Moto header and tune.....Sunday the wife said, not sure what you did but I don't feel any more heat.
I would recommend one of our Crotch Coolers . Yes they work very well and are very easy to install. Even with the fans on the new bikes,we get emails Everyday that our Crotch Coolers made all the difference to redirect the heat .. If you have Any questions please email or give us a call Thank you Itch .. Here is a link to our products http://shop.captain-itch.com/Harley-...hields_c58.htm

I have a '17 RGU and same thing; at about 85 deg, my right thigh and right passenger foot board are baking. In doing the header, did you remove the cat too? I apologize for asking if doing the header means that the cat is always removed. Thx
If the new location of the cat starts causing a lot of rider/ passengers to feel an uncomfortable amount of heat, and the best way to address it is a pipe that eliminates the cat and a tune, does anyone think HD will stick with not honoring warranty's on bikes that had it done? Especially in cases when the failure has nothing to do with those items?
I do not find any real difference in heat between the 16 RG I had and this 17 RK. To be honest I think this thing is hotter or at least the heat is in a worse spot. still it is leap and bounds so much better than the 103 in both engine and suspension there is no going back

The best thing to do is ask your dealer. I did before I went with the Fuel Moto cat-less head-pipe (which they installed for me). They said they would still honor the warranty, but technically the drivetrain warranty is voided. So just depends on where I break down, and if another dealer will overlook the new head-pipe and PV tuner.

"So just depends on where I break down, and if another dealer will overlook the new head-pipe and PV tuner"..wonder what the Vegas odds on that would be these days..just sayin' :-)

The new header does eliminate the cat. I wasn't really feeling it but the wife's right boot would get quite warm and that heat would flow right up her pants leg. She is much happier
