Ok, after some research, I've decided to go with the stage 2 screaming eagle torque cam kit. For the money, seems like a worthwhile mod. Right now just have v&h eliminators and k&n filter and runs great. But since I will probably need the tuner anyway, why not go fore more torque and power. And keep my warranty intact.
Now the expensive part. My local dealer wants to quote me 8 hrs. labor. I call b.s. on that so, if anyone has had this done, what did the dealer charge for labor?
Thanks all!
The stage 2 makes a huge difference. If you think it runs good stock just wait.....my total cost was around $4500 Australian dollars but that was with a new header, muffs, SEPT, breather and dyno tune.

Just to ask the question...and this is the M8 forum....you sure your powertrain warranty is intact? Other threads here have indicated that non-Screaming Eagle parts kill your power train warranty right off the bat. And you had an air cleaner AND pipes without any tuning so far?? Based on everything I've come to understand about the M8 (and yes, I'm always learning like everyone else) I'd say that you have already crossed that line and to go ahead and do whatever you want. Any warranty claims for the power train at this point may be a non-starter. I'd be interested to hear what others think in that regard.
Dealer said no problem with warranty on what I have and stage 2 kit doesn't affect warranty
True on SE stage 2. And fair enough on what you have, although is contradicts what my dealer said and what I have read here. Unless you have it in writing, it won't be the dealer honoring warranty work, but the MOCO itself. What do they say?
Anyway, I'm not going to press this. I am always interested in trying to line up all the data points to get a repeatable outcome and so far this one doesn't line up. But, as I said, I am always learning. Enjoy the Stage 2!
