I bought my LRS on Amazon 2 weeks ago for $97. Their website was like you said $85, with shipping at $35. I have a '17 RGU and went with a 14" which is close to the stock shield height. I have about 400 miles on it and still undecided. The height is fine, but I'm not sure of the quality as it appears thinner than the stock shield, so not sure how long it will hold up.
Thanks for the info on quality. I should get mine tomorrow. Hopefully its the right height and holds up.
Who kept their stock windshield on? What after market windshields are people buying now days? I haven't had to look for windshields since 2012. I just upgraded to 2017 SGS. My old windshield was a 6" smoked.

Installed windshield yesterday and took it for a ride. Might be a little tall for me, but I'm able to see fine 20ft in front while looking over it. Definitely pushes a lot of the air i was getting around my head amd ears up over me, so im keeping it. I think the quality seems very good and its just as thick as my stock windshield. Cant beat the price either.
Freedom windshields are another nice choice. The top is curved to kick the wind upward and allows you to use a shorter shield.
They come in several tints and many sizes. You can buy direct from the factory or from our site.
