this a new 'Pre-Emptive Strike M8 Problem' thread so we can be proactive and get out ahead of these inevitable forthcoming problems that nobody has had or reported yet especially on the heels of the next wave of M8's being released
I'll start..I've been hearing that nobody has experienced or heard of Compensator issues yet so obviously it's just a matter of time and not if but when
ok, fail..just trying to lighten things up since been so uptight...wife and I have had 2 clutch switch failures, oil line leak and recall, warped rotors and trans xfer issue all in 1 year and 23,000 miles..and we traded our 2015 RK and 2012 Tri Glide that never had problems in 50,000 miles combined in for our new M8's, and despite the problems mentioned we wouldn't ever consider going back to the trouble free 103's we had over the 107's...best and most fun we've had over many years, bikes and miles
Unfortunately I have read all the M8 problem threads with great interest. Now that My bike has proven itself to be a great companion Im weaning myself off the trouble threads.
