Ya I use orings for years. I keep some on hand. Not sure if ever changed the one on my primary, with over 50k.

Get a harley service manual. Ya they will tell to replace orings and derby gaskets, that you don't need to, but other than that good.

Dropped the primary oil this weekend. It was better than the first change. No iron sheen in the oil. The plug did still have some fines on the magnet.

My 1,000 had quite a bit of fuzzy metal on the primary and trans plugs. The oil plug was clean. Just cleaned them up good and moved on. We'll see what' there at 5,000. My 103 in the '13 never had anything on the plugs.
